In 2009 the PCC completed a three year project to replace the oil tank and renew the toilet roof. This work has exhausted the PCC restoration fund. In 2010 we now have to turn to addressing major works to the east end of the north aisle where there is a need to renew the external pointing and flashing and other general repairs in this area, followed by urgent and essential Health and Safety work to the internal accesses of the tower to allow ongoing maintenance. These works are expected to exceed £30,000 at the present estimate.
