The Church Council hopes to carry out an enhancement to the sound of the church organ - to provide the organist with greater scope and flexibility in pieces to play and to generally enhance the provision of music at Narborough Church. It has therefore been decided to add a fifteenth stop to the organ to brighten the sound. the Chancellor of the Diocese has granted a faculty for the work to be carried out and now we need to secure the funding. As well as writing to specific charities associated with organ restoration we need to appeal more generally. The costs of the works including VAT (which is not refundable) is £ 3282 of which we currently have £ 1800 given or promised. The cost of each individual pipe is £ 50. Maybe you or your family would like to sponsor a pipe in remembrance of some special occasion or person.
