" Watch and Pray " is the distinctive message on the clock face of the church of All Saints, West Acre. The tower dates from the 14th century. Alongside the church is the gatehouse of the former Abbey of West Acre. Although only a few fragments remain-especially the tower and chapter house, the Abbey itself was more influential than that of neighbouring Castle Acre.
The future of this church as a church is very uncertain and is on the national register for Churches at risk. Donations can be sent to the church treasurer Mr. Ian Caspall, c/o The Estate Office, West Acre, Kings Lynn, Norfolk PE32 1UB Cheques should be made payable to West Acre PCC
